Killing two birds with one stone.

My smile is broken, your heart is torn
Your wound is opened, my love is gone.

p/s: Right, now that the two birds are dead, shall we focus on the pictures? This time there will be no interruptions.

In loving memory of Soehod Karto
1924-2009

"So this is the day of the dead
Bound by love unbound by flesh
This is for those who have gone before
Flower petals falling on the altar
This is just a gift
This is birth and this is death
All in the same breath
We all lose one another along the way"
-Jason Collett

Al-fatihah, to the only grandfather I have ever known.
May Allah bless your soul Tok Wod, and grant you the gift of heaven.

Kalau airnya tak pernah ada, tak perlu dicincang, memang sudah terputus.

It's a wet and watery Summer indeed.

p/s: Funny how people always think I have it easy.

coup de grĂ¢ce

Never again.
I quit.

The camera doesn't love you Fairuz.

I kid, I kid.

Before you start criticizing me about these pictures, I will remind you that it was 9 in the morning and you of all people should know that I don't do mornings. We'll do this again some other time. In the evening, please.

Dubai

Describe Dubai in your own words - overrated.
Or as my brother had put it - 'banyak hu-ha je'.

The only thing interesting there were my nephew and nieces' crazy antics. It was nice, getting close to the kids. I got to know a lot about them. And somewhere in between that I managed to promise Danish a Polaroid camera.

Shit.

crack, crack, crack, crack

I love this, it's like they're asking you to go smoke some crack-cocaine.

The very near resemblance to Justin Timberlake's My Love music video is not impressive, although the six packs are. Enjoy the abs, ladies.

Ah, I remember this trip.

I've cried during this trip more than I would normally have in a year.

I cried in the airplane on my way there overlooking the clouds because I had decided the night before that I was going to once and for all give up on that person who unknowingly managed to make my heart skip a painful beat, so to speak, but I cried not because I regretted wasting my time going round and round to only, at the end of the day, prove that I am in fact in denial, I cried because I knew that from that moment on, I will never feel the same way again about that person, and it will probably be a long time before I could even try having those kinds of feelings again for another person.

The second time I cried was about 2 hours after, while I was in the bus with Lina on our way to her place. I had a really bad headache and the bus was swaying all over the place and I couldn't really do anything but rest my head on Lina's shoulders and only responded 'hmm' to her stories while I cringed in pain with tears flowing silently down my cheeks.

And I had a fever and was vomiting everything that went into my mouth the day after. I cried because I felt sorry that I had to waste all that food and also because everytime I vomited, it felt like my esophagus and palate were being soaked with acid. I lost about 5 kilos because of that.

But because Lina took care of me until I recovered, I still managed to enjoy Dublin. Thank you Lina and sorry I didn't eat your porridge/mee/potato wedges, I figured that I was going to throw all of them up later so I didn't bother to eat, just to save me from all the agony.

Dublin was nice, it would have been better if my immune system was not so whacked. This definitely will not be my last time there, so I'll write about Dublin when I go there with a smile on my face, and no tears in my eyes.

I lost my faith in the summer time

These are pictures from the Oasis concert that my friends and I went to at Heaton Park, Manchester on June 6th and I am only posting these pictures up now because, as the words of Noel Gallagher - "It ain't no place to be killing time, I guess, I'm just lazy".
